John Roberts Examples

John W Roberts was a well respected home builder in Burlington Vermont spanning from the 1870s all the way until the 1890s when he moved to Philadelphia. His houses are known to follow a style referred to as Queen Anne. A distinct style of house recognizable by their 1.5 story, gable end facing the street, two narrow second story windows above the first floor bay window, a side porch, and decorative millwork on the upper story in the gable.There are a variety of beautiful houses scattered around Burlington that owe their creation to Roberts. Below will be a non comprehensive list of additional homes built.
